  Very good location. Most major sightseeing attractions are in walking distance to this hotel. Shopping Centre very close by. Good underground parking facility, although not owned by the hotel, however has direct access to the hotel.

  Very comfortable room, good bathroom facilities.Hotel is within striding distance of the Market, shops, transport etc. No need to have a car to visit any sights. Hotel could do better by displaying tourist info. in the Lobby, we had to ask for everything. In the room itself not much info. is provided for a visit.

  Were not impressed by the restaurant, could do much better there at a lower price. Breakfast Buffet was expensive and nothing special. Evening meal was also quite expensive and arrived at the table luke-warm, looked as if it had been sitting round for a while and warmed up, not successfully. We ate out after that experience, there is plenty of choice in the area.

  Location was key. I would come back to Ottawa and stay at this hotel because of the staff, and the central location. Very close to the mall and Parliament.

  The Wi-Fi connection was spotty at times, and the view from the hotel was not the best. Rooms were a tad small.

  They put us in Room 205 which at one time must have been a smoking room as the smell of smoke was in the rug and in the room.

  The room was very old and worn - it faced onto three other building sides - I've stayed at this same hotel in the past and was thrilled with the room and the service. Not this time. Staff who greeted us was not helpful and obviously decided to stick us in one of the "old" rooms despite a two week lead time for my reservation. I won't be staying there again!!!!

  We enjoyed the hotel because it was centrally located for all the activities we had planned to do. I was disappointed to find out that the parking was not included in the price of the room.

  The shower got the floor very wet and elevator key did not seem to work on all the elevators

  It was coincidence but the pool and spa area was closed for annual maintenance during my stay. I wish they would post pool-closure dates so that people for whom the pool/spa is important could choose somewhere else to stay. Also, when I arrived they did not have my hotel booking through this service. They honoured the on-line rate for the first night but I was charged a higher rate for the second night. Fortunately, they did have a room for me.

  The door of the shower partition has a slit between the floor, and water spills out too much. I believe that fixing this will make the customer experience excellent.

  It was very convenient to walk around downtown Ottawa.

  It was quite a small room . There was no microwave or fridge which meant that we have no way of keeping our own drinks cold or of making anything to snack on. The fridge was "wired" so that when we thought we could remove the bar stuff there was a charge just for touching it!!!!

  Excellent location, parking worked well with direct access to hotel.

  The fact that water bottles would be charged immediately. For the price/night I would at least expect one or two (small) bottles a day for free. Too many children and families hanging out in the lobby.
